ColecoVision Menu 2.2 is a front end for Colemdos or any other of the similar
emulators (ex. fmsx-dos, vgb-dos) through windows x.xx.

You will have to save after each entry or you will loose what you have written.
If you have used the 2.1 version, you can use cm21to22.exe to convert the
colmenu.dat file. It will also convert colmenu.cfg if it is in the same
directory.

I've changed the format of colmenu.dat. The file should now load faster and
can hold up to about 4600 games. Anyone go this many ? :-). This could of
course be less if you run out of memory.

If you use the menu program with any other emulator than colemdos you will have
to write in the parameters manually in the "alternative parameters" editbox.
Parameters written here will override parameters set by the comboboxes.

You can use the the setparam.exe to set/delete "alternative paramters" for the
whole database.

Pressing the default button will, as well as saving the default values for
the emulator, also save the status of the HideButton and the filtersettings.

Pressing the ResetButton will set all comboboxes and SpineditValues back to
the defaults of the emulator This means no paramters will be sent to the
emulator, except of course the filename. If you want to know what parameters
is sent to the emulator you can, after running a program, look at the file
colmenu.tmp wich is created (temporarily) when you run a game.

By pressing the EmulatorButton you can choose wich emulator you want to use
for each rom-file.

If you are using pif-files (preferred) for the emulator you should put in
both the path and filename for the emulator in the "Program Filename"-section.
The pif-file should also contain the path to the emulator in the "Start-up
Directory"-section. (At least I had to do so to get the msx-emulator to work.)

When changing directory the program tries to load two files : colmenu.dat and
colmenu.cfg.
Colmenu.dat contains the settings for each rom-file.
Colmenu.cfg contains the default values for the entries not in the database
and the status of the HideButton and the filtersettings.

The DeleteButton will ask if you want to delete entries from the database
and the disk, or just the disk if it isn't in the database.

The program is freeware, but if you use it please send me an e-mail and tell
me what you think of it.
